Beverly Jean Richardson

Beverly Richardson, 80, of Arkansas City, Ks, passed away on Wednesday, February 06, 2019, at her home.

The family will have a memorial service will be held at 5:30 P.M., Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at West Kansas Ave. Church of God.   

Beverly Jean was born on March 29, 1938 in Auburn, Nebraska the daughter of George and Thelma (Humphrey) Hill.  Her family moved to Kansas and she graduated from Arkansas City High School. 

She married the love of her life Cody Richardson in 1955 in Arkansas City, KS.  She was born in to a family of preachers and church was important to her.   She was member of the West Kansas Ave. Church of God, where she served in the nursery, Woman’s Ministry President, taught Sunday school and helped keep the church clean.   She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by many.  Her faith and love for God could not be shaken.

Her family includes: her husband Cody of the home; her sister, Barbara Wright; her son Mike Richardson and Daughter Becky McDuffy; her 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and 5 siblings, Sharan Mattson, Icle Tiffany, Jackie Coy, David Hill and Cathy Richardson.
