Clayton Neil Templar

Clayton Neil Templar, 54 of Arkansas City, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2018 at South Central Kansas Medical Center.  

Clayton was born on September 21, 1964 in Arkansas City, the son of Theodore “Ted” and Maxine (Bowman) Templar.   He was reared and educated in Arkansas City.  Clayton enjoyed radio broadcasting, especially the Top 40 hits.  With the switch to internet, he enjoyed You Tube videos.  He will be missed by his family.  His family includes his brother, Lance Templar of Arkansas City and several extended family members.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Kenton.  

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Shelley Family Funeral Home of Arkansas City.  Private inurnment will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.  Memorials have been established in Clayton’s name for the Cowley County Humane Society and can be made through the funeral home.  To send a condolence please visit, www.shelleyfamilyfh.com.
