Jerry Nutt, 71, of Wellington, KS, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018 at his home in Wellington, Kansas.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, July 28 at the Shelley Family Funeral Home in Wellington, KS. Burial will be in the Sumner Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, July 27, 2018 from 9:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M., with the family receiving friends from 6:00 until 8:00 at the Shelley Family Funeral Home 704 N. Washington, Wellington, KS 67152.
Gerald “Jerry” Nutt was born May 23, 1947, the son of Arthur and Claudine (Lupton) Nutt in Wellington, KS. He graduated from Wellington High School in 1966. Jerry served his country in the United States Army. He worked for over 35 years for Eaton Hydraulics in Hutchinson, KS. Jerry liked to camp and loved cars.
Jerry is survived by his children: Kenny Nutt and Sarah of Wellington and Shannon Lacey and her husband Bob of McPherson, KS; 6 grandchildren: Cadance Bird, Shilynn Gustason, Raeawana Nutt, Leah Nelson, Makayla Lacey and Jay Lacey; two sisters: Cindy White and her husband Ron of Wellington and Julene Sarchet of Wellington.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
