Isauro Flores Aguilar Jr

Isauro "Ike" Aguilar Jr., 46, of Wellington, Kansas, died Thursday, March 5, 2009 at Via Christi St. Joseph Campus in Wichita, Kansas.

Mass Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, March 9, 2009 at the St. Anthony Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Sumner Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Wellington. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until 6:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 7th at the Hawks- Shelley Funeral Home. Additional visitation will be from from12:00 Noon until 5:00 P.M. Sunday at the Hawks-Shelley Funeral Home of Wellington with the family receiving friends from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. Rosary will be held at 6:00 P.M. Sunday evening at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church.

A memorial has been established for the benefit of Ike's daughter's education. Contributions can be left with the funeral home.

Isauro Flores Aguilar Jr. was born on February 8, 1963 the son of Isauro Flores and Lola Abasolo Aguilar in Wellington, Kansas. Ike was a 1982 graduate of the Wellington High School. Ike worked at Tect for over 17 years before developing congestive heart failure. He enjoyed hunting and fishing but especially loved OU football and spending time with his friends.

Surviving to honor his memory are his daughters Brittany Aguilar, Blaire Aguilar and Brooke Aguilar of Wellington, son Bret Blevins of Haysville, father and mother: Isauro Sr. and Lola Aguilar, sisters Juana Finch and husband Doug of Wellington and Gloria Avalos and husband Jesus of Wellington and brother Mario Aguilar and wife Julie of Wellington and the mother of his daughters Tammy Aguilar of Wellington.

Preceding him in death are his grandparents.
