James Ray Rochat

  James Rochat, 61, of Oxford passed away Monday, June 3, 2019 at his home in Oxford.

   Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, June 7, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Wellington. A memorial has been established with the Slate Valley Baptist Church and contributions can be left with the Oxford Funeral Home, P.O. Box 123, Oxford, KS 67119. 

  James Ray Rochat was born October 16, 1957, the son of Lindsay and Carol Rochat. He graduated from Udall High School in 1975. James served his country in the United States Navy. James was machinist for Viola Industries and Rubbermaid. On May 8, 1982 James was united in marriage to Melva Siever. He loved spending time on his Harley.

  James is survived by his loving wife, Melva of the home; his father, Lindsay (Diane) of Tulsa, OK; sons: Kevin McClung (Anna) of Winfield, KS and Kyle McClung (Krystal) of Burden, KS; 6 grandchildren: Spencer McClung, Tabener McClung, Olivia McClung, Kostner McClung, Noah McClung and Jessie McClung; a brother, Davin Binyon of Yuba City, CA; a sister Becci Rochat of Winfield, KS; brother-in-law, Jeremy Lankton of Winfield, KS; and sister-in-law, Monica Rochat of San Antonio, TX.

  He is preceded in death by his mother, a brother, Philip Rochat and a sister, Rachel Lankton.
