Jerry Leroy Wunderlich, 72, of Atlanta, KS passed away on Wednesday evening April 24, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.
Graveside services will be held at Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Atlanta, KS at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 30. No visitation is scheduled. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital, donations may be left in care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield.
Jerry was born in Piedmont, KS to proud parents Carl and Emma (Kater) Wunderlich, he attended Piedmont high and on December 19, 1970 he married the love of his life Donna Molter. Jerry was a heavy equipment operator for Martin Marietta and worked on township roads, he also did ranch work. Jerry enjoyed camping, being outdoors, fishing, horses, playing corn hole, he also liked watching OU football and softball. He had many dogs that were very special to him, but most of all he loved being with his family.
Surviving to honor him in memory are his wife Donna, son Carl and wife Therisa, son Keith and wife Tamela, son Jered and wife Micki; grandchildren: Gunar, Michael, Braden, Karli, Haven and Jace; brother Harry Wunderlich and sisters Betty Hamilton and Dottie Simons.
