Kimberly Acotto-Kane, 50, of Wellington, KS, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018 at her home in Wellington, Kansas.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 4th at the New Life Chapel Foursquare Church in Udall, KS. Visitation will be Friday, August 3, 2018 from 9:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M., with the family receiving friends from 6:00 until 8:00 at the Shelley Family Funeral Home 704 N. Washington, Wellington, KS 67152. A memorial has been established to help with funeral expenses and may be left with Shelley Family Funeral Home.
Kimberly Jo Acotto-Kane was born on November 23, 1967 the daughter of Carmen Acotto Sr. and Deborah Mayo in Bangor, Maine. She graduated from Chapparal High School in 1985. On May 21, 2001 she was united in marriage with Billy L. Kane. Kimberly was a homemaker who enjoyed collecting antiques and all things vintage. She loved watching Turner Classic Movies, and listening to 80's Rock and Roll, but most of all she loved being a Nana and spending her time with her dog Lulu.
Survivors included her husband Bill Kane of Wellington; her mother, Deborah Mayo and husband Rod of Wellington; her father, Carmen Acotto Sr. and wife Sharon of Holiday, FL; children: Johnna Harrison of Derby, Caitlin Row and husband Noah of Wellington, Dylan Kane of Wellington, Tyann Batchel and husband Matt of Andover, Dru Kane and wife Misty of Wichita, Ryan Kane and wife Erin of Dallas, TX; 11 grandchildren; siblings: Carmen Acotto Jr. and wife Catherine, Lynn Mayo and wife Kristin, Chasity Mayo, Mandy Brown, Hope Egan and husband John, Monique Mayo, Jessica Mayo, Austin Mayo, as well as many cousins and nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her sister Sandy Green, her grandparents, and her uncle, Jay Thibodeau.
