Max Monroe Dickson, 65, of Arkansas City passed away Monday, October 28, 2019 at William Newton Hospital.

Max was born in Arkansas City on April 12, 1954 to parents Paul and Audie Dickson. He attended high school in Arkansas City. Max married Debra McGlasson on January 26, 1986 in Winfield, the couple later divorced. Max worked for Skyline Homes, RailCrew Xpress and KSQ. He enjoyed fishing, eating at Daisy Mae’s Café and talking to anyone and everyone.

Survivors include children Neil Dickson (Scarlett) and Mark Dickson, grandchildren Zoey and Tiberius Dickson, sister Ruth Clifford (Randy), and father Paul Dickson. He is preceded in death by his mother.

Cremation will take place, no services are scheduled. Arrangements are by Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield.
