Patricia Colleen (Speck) Hulse

Patricia Colleen Hulse, 79, of Winfield, KS, passed away on Thursday evening, July 5, 2018 at South Central Kansas Medical Center in Arkansas City, KS. 

Funeral Services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, July 9th, 2018 at Shelley Family Funeral Home Chapel in Winfield.  Burial will follow at Kechi Township Cemetery in Park City, KS.  The Visitation will be at the chapel on Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Patricia Colleen was born on June 14, 1939 in Oswego, Kansas the baby of five children born to Charles Lester and Leona Nellibelle (Bates) Speck.   She was united marriage on April 27, 1954 in Chetopa, KS to William Harlan Hulse.  The couple had two children, Billy and Brenda Jo.   Patricia was homemaker and enjoyed her flower gardening, crocheting and was an excellent seamstress.   After 57 years of marriage, William preceded her death.  

Her family includes her son, Billy Hulse and wife Cheri of Winfield, KS, her daughter, Brenda Jo (Hulse) Kratzer of Kansas City, KS; her brothers, Donald Speck of Canon City, CO and Delbert Speck and wife Evelyn of Wichita, KS; her 7 grandchildren, Jeremy Christopher Hulse, Justin Steven Bugner, Joshua Hulse, William Hulse, Kelly Rae Barthelme, Ttorbin Harper and Brianna Marie Hulse; her 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchildren.   She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 2 siblings, Sonny and Midge.
