Ronald "Bub" Lee Lewallen

Ronald “Bub” Lewallen, 61, of Wellington, KS passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at his home in Wellington.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Monday, April 22, 2019 at the First Presbyterian Church in Wellington. Burial will be at the Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Wellington, KS. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 to 7:00 P.M. with the family receiving friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. A memorial has been established with the Wellington Golf Course and may be left with the Shelley Family Funeral Home 704 N. Washington, Wellington, KS 67152. 

Ronald “Bub” Lee Lewallen was born on September 19, 1957 the son of Gerald and Betty (Perkins) Lewallen in Lyons, Kansas. He was a 1975 graduate of Wellington High School. Bub worked for the turnpike and later in the Dairy Department for Dillon’s Grocery. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Rhonda Bell, on October 8, 2005. She preceded him in death on April 8, 2007.

Bub is survived by his father, Jerry Lewallen; brothers: Rod Lewallen and wife Jeannie and Richard Lewallen all of Wellington; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother Betty Lewallen and his wife Rhonda Lewallen.
