Sherilyn K. Vars

Sherilyn “Sher” K. Vars, 57, of Geuda Springs, KS, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. 

Sherilyn Kay was born on May 19, 1961 in Arkansas City the daughter of Alvin Dean and Beverly Ann (Morse) Lamb.   She graduated from Oxford High School.   She enjoyed her job as a pharmacy technician.  She worked at the Arkansas City Memorial Hospital and also Wal-Mart.   Sher was united in marriage to Tom Vars on March 19, 2004 in Tampa, FL.  The couple made their home in Tampa, FL for 15 years.  Sher also lived in St. Louis, MO; Seattle, WA; Arkansas City and Geuda Springs.   She was member of the Krewe of Hillsborough, Spirit of the Cigar City Krewe and Krewe of the South Shore Marauders.  She also enjoyed crafts, sewing, cooking, gardening and especially spending time with her family. 

Her family includes: her husband, Tom of the home; her children, Zackry Jarid Hutchinson and wife, Molly; Michael Vars, Thomas Vars Jr. and wife, Tina; Rebecca Vars and fiancé, Stephen and Bradley Vars, brother, Jimmy Dean Lamb and wife Kathy; father, Alvin Dean Lamb and 4 grandchildren with one of the way.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly Ann Lamb and grandparents.
