Betty June Kelley, 90, of Winfield, KS passed away May 7, 2022 at William Newton Hospital in Winfield.
Graveside memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, May 20th, 2022 at Highland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, donations may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield.
Betty was born February 23, 1932 in Burden, KS the daughter of Charlie and Mary (Brown) McKibben. She was united in marriage to Joseph Junior Kelley in Newkirk, OK on January 7, 1948, he preceded her in death in 2019. Betty and Joseph made their home in Winfield and lived there for over 60 years. She enjoyed being a homemaker and spending time with her husband, she liked embroidering, going camping, fishing, cooking, and playing cards. Betty was also a member of the VFW Post 10 Auxiliary.
Betty is survived by her children: Wynona Diedrich and husband John, Sherry Aguinaga and husband Jake, and Allen Kelley; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
