Bradley William Irvin, 52, of Canyon, TX passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, January 3, 2023 at the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield, interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. No visitation is scheduled. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cowley County Humane Society and AA, donations may be left in the care of the funeral home.
Brad was born in Winfield, KS on June 8, 1971 to parents Ronnie and Linda Kay (Branch) Irvin. He graduated from Newkirk High School and obtained his welder certification. Brad held several jobs throughout his life, most notably at Rubbermaid, Southwest Butler Quarry and Morton Building. Brad enjoyed fishing, bargain hunting, tinkering with projects, and he loved cats, all whom he named Clint. Brad was known for being a jokester and his sense of humor.
He is survived by his son Damon William Irvin (Jamie), step-daughter Emily Christine Sweet, grandchildren Savannah, Maddie, and Everett Irvin, parents Ronnie and Shirley Irvin, and Bill Cook, siblings Tonya Becker, Julie Post, Mariah Veal, and grandmother Colleen Irvin. Brad is preceded in death by his mother Linda Kay Cook (Branch), Grandfathers Donald Branch and Charlie Irvin, and Grandmother Elwanda Branch.
