Brenda Alicia Aviles, 45, of Parkerfield, KS, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at home, surrounded by her loved ones.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 29, 2025, at the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Arkansas City. Burial will follow at Parker Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation from 12:00-2:00 P.M. on Monday, December 29th, preceding the funeral. Memorial contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation, and donations may be left in the care of the funeral home.

Brenda was born in Nuevo Leon, Mexico, on October 9, 1980, to parents Ismael Perez Torres and Maria G. Valdez Guerrero. She was united in marriage to Marvin Aviles on February 6, 2000, in Garden City, KS. Brenda enjoyed sewing, cooking, and being a homemaker. She loved taking care of her children and reading her Bible. She was a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church.

Survivors include her husband, parents, children, Amy Alicia Aviles (Jacob), and Abraham Aviles; her grandchild, Adeline Alicia Titus, and her siblings: Maricela Perez Valdez, Nancy M. Perez Valdez, Ismael C. Perez Valdez, Juan A. Perez Valdez, Dolores G. Perez Valdez, Luis A. Perez Valdez, Francisco Perez Valdez, and Jesus Perez Valdez.

Brenda Alicia Aviles, 45, de Parkerfield, KS, falleció el día miércoles 24 de diciembre de 2025 en su casa, rodeada de sus seres queridos.

El servicio funerario se llevará a cabo a las 2:00 pm el día lunes 29 de diciembre del 2025 en la funeraria familiar Shelley de Arkansas City. El entierro seguirá en el cementerio de Parker. Habrá un momento para las visitas de 12:00-2:00 p.m. el día lunes 29 de diciembre, antes del funeral.

Brenda nació en Nuevo León, México el 9 de octubre de 1980 a sus padres Ismael Perez Torres y Maria G. Valdez Guerrero. Ella se unió en matrimonio con Marvin Aviles el 6 de febrero del 2000 en Garden City, Ks. Brenda disfrutaba coser, cocinar y ser ama de casa. Ella amaba cuidar de sus hijos y leer la Biblia. Ella era miembro de la Iglesia Adventista del Séptimo Día.
