Brenda Carson, 56, of Oxford, KS, passed away Monday, May 11, 2020 at her home in Oxford, Kansas.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering will be held at a later date.

Brenda Kay Carson was born February 16, 1964, the daughter of Larry and Annabelle Martindale in Oklahoma. She graduated from Wellington High School in 1982 and attended Coffeyville Community College. Brenda worked as a janitor for the school system, at Rubbermaid, the casino and at Casey’s Store in Oxford.

Brenda is survived by her daughter, Danielle Carson of Oxford; brother Marcus Coley of Gainesville, TX; stepson, Justin Carson of Oxford; stepmother, Martha Ringler of Wichita, KS; and ex-husband, Wayne Carson of Oxford, grandsons, Morgan Carson and Kit “Trapper” Carson of Oxford.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her stepsister, Jamie Lockhart.
