Brody Joe Kahle

Brody Joe Kahle, 44, of Arkansas City, KS passed away November 29, 2023 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield. There will be a time of visitation from 12-2 P.M. at the funeral home, prior to the service. Cremation will take place following services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cowley County Humane Society, donations may be left in the care of the funeral home.

Brody was born December 15, 1978 in Dallas, TX to parents Donald and Patricia (Nicholson) Kahle. He attended South Grand Prairie High School and later enlisted in the Marines. Brody was united in marriage to Nichole Waltrip on April 17, 1999 in Harper County, KS. He enjoyed doing construction and working with his hands. Brody was a member of the Legion Riders of Medicine Lodge, he enjoyed fishing, camping, kayaking, collecting knives, and testing out survivalist techniques. Brody was a generous person, he loved helping others and caring for stray animals, and taking care of his kids and grandbaby.

Brody is survived by his wife Nichole, children David Kahle, Cierra Kahle (Justin Lambert), and Ethan Kahle, grandchild Ezekiel and one on the way, parents Donny and Patty Kahle, siblings Shawn Kahle (Misty), Jason Kahle, Angela Wilburn, and Shelly Kahle, and 12 nieces and nephews.
