Carol Alberta (Allen) Woods

Carol Alberta Woods, 95, of Winfield, KS, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.

No services are scheduled. Burial will take place in Allenwood, NJ. Donations may be made to Cumbernauld Village. Arrangements are by Shelley Family Funeral Home.

Carol was born December 25, 1928 in Point Pleasant, NJ to parents Samuel and Ella (Gifford) Allen. She attended Manasquan, NJ High School and later received a bachelor's in Psychiatric Nursing, which she did until retiring in 1983. Carol married the love of her life, Ernest Anderson Woods, on February 9, 1952 in Allenwood, NJ. Carol enjoyed bingo, camping, traveling, and doing macrame.

Survivors include her daughter Judith McGonigle of Winfield, KS.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son Jeffery Allen Woods.
