Christine Lynn Bohaty-Humphrey

Christine Lynn Bohaty-Humphrey, 57, of Udall, KS passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita.

Christine was born September 12, 1967 in Melrose Park, IL to parents Kenneth and Donna (Schwartz) Bohaty. She grew up in Illinois and graduated from Lyons Township High School, and later received an associate degree from Cowley County Community College. Chris was united in marriage to Scott Humphrey on April 1, 2015 at their home in Udall, KS. Chris worked as an assistant postmaster, at a bank and a convenience store, and she spent the last 16 years as the program manager of ResCare Community Living. She was very passionate about her job and loved her clients at ResCare. She enjoyed going antiquing and collecting Boyd’s Bears and dogs. Chris loved spending time with her grandkids and was selfless, always making sure everyone around her was cared for.

Chris is survived by her husband Scott, mother Donna Bohaty, brother Kenneth Bohaty Jr., daughter Jessica Bohaty, son Seth Williamson, stepchildren Ranse Williamson, Syrus Humphrey, and Sheldon Humphrey, grandchildren Jasmine, Everett, Rylee, Derrek, Amara, Liam, Sylus, and Amelia. She is preceded in death by her father.

Her family invites friends to a memorial service and potluck at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 21, 2024 at the Udall Community Building – 102 E. 1st St. Udall, KS 67146. Memorial contributions for Chris may be made to ResCare and Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, donations may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield.
