Clarence Schuessler Obituary

Clarence “Leroy” Schuessler, 74 of Arkansas City passed away Monday, July 12, 2021 at Medicalodges of Arkansas City.

Private graveside services will be held at the Newkirk Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Arkansas City.

Leroy was born in Arkansas City, KS April 2, 1947 to parents Wilbur and Dorothy (Peterson) Schuessler. He attended Ponca City High School and later graduated with a Bachelors's in Forestry from OSU in Stillwater. Leroy had a long career in home health care and later used those skills when he retired to care for his mother full time. Leroy enjoyed woodworking, quilting, and sewing.

Leroy is survived by his sister Earlene Logan and brother Harold Schuessler.
