Clifford Ray Hall, 84, of Winfield, KS passed away peacefully Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Central Baptist Church. Burial will follow at 1:30 PM at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Grenola, KS. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM Monday, September 25, 2023 at the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield. Memorial contributions for Cliff may be made to the Dementia Society of America and Central Baptist Church, donations may be left in the care of the funeral home.
Cliff was born December 1, 1938 in Winfield, KS to parents Cecil and Katherine (Hall) Hall. He was raised in Winfield and graduated from Winfield High School in 1956. Cliff served in the Army National Guard and then worked at Jarvis Auto Supply as a parts salesman, where he worked from 1958-2004. After retiring from Jarvis Auto, he worked part-time at NAPA. He also had a hydraulic jack repair business, “C.R. Hall Jack Repair”, for many years. Cliff was united in marriage to Jane (Griffin) on September 18, 1987 at Central Baptist Church. Cliff enjoyed watching television, and he always kept busy doing projects and helping people. Cliff was a member of Central Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Jane Hall, daughters Patricia Shanholtzer (Phillip), and Barbara Goldsmith, step-daughters Janet Goad (Tony), and Julia Newton, 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and sisters Mary Lou Unruh and Kay Bradberry. Cliff is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Donnie and Gene Hall.
