Cynthia Ann (Groom) Madrigal

Cynthia Ann Madrigal, 69, of Winfield, KS passed away January 23, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her family.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Suite at Eagle Nest Inc. in Winfield, donations may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home.

Cindi was born on February 15, 1955 in Winfield, KS to parents Donald and Virginia (Allen) Groom. She graduated from Winfield High School in 1973. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Jesse Madrigal, on December 6, 1975. Cindi worked for several local businesses throughout her career and retired from S and Y Industries in 2019. She always worked hard to provide and care for her family. Cindi enjoyed crafting, sewing, crocheting, cooking, canning, and reading her Bible. She always had oldies music playing and enjoyed going to the casino and to concerts with her husband. She also loved being at any of her grandkids’ events to cheer them on.

Cindi is survived by her husband, Jesse Madrigal; her children, Anna Madrigal, Teresa Harden (Dave), David Madrigal (Jennifer); grandchildren Davin Harden, Kale Madrigal, Kye Madrigal, Kline Madrigal, Easton Johnson and Collin Johnson; siblings, Cheryl Riggs, Donna Reynolds and Ron Groom.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Melinda.
