Donnie Reida Obituary

Donnie Lee Reida, 79, of Winfield, KS passed away on January 16, 2025 at the Kansas Veterans Home of Winfield.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas Veterans Home (KVH) for the Employee Education Fund, donations may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home.

Donnie was born on November 16, 1945 in Anthony, KS. He graduated from Kiowa High School before joining the Navy in January of 1963. He was honorably discharged from duty in September of 1966. Donnie worked as a painter and auto body repair man for several businesses before starting DNJ Automotive. Donnie enjoyed traveling, skiing, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Donnie is survived by his son Chad Reida (Shelly), grandchildren Tad Reida (Allison), Tiffany Mothershead (Clay), and Matthew Reida (Melanie), great-grandchildren, Peyton, Madelynn, Ike, Huck, Chuck, Millie, McKenna and Kaylee.
