Eva Marie (Rhodes) Runyan

Eva Marie Runyan, 69, of Winfield, KS, passed away, March 28, 2020 under the care of her loving family.

Family Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at the Highland Cemetery in Winfield, KS. Visitation is Tuesday, March 31, 2020 from Noon until 7:00 P.M. with the family receiving friends from 5:00 to 7:00P.M. at Oxford Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers memorials have been established with Oxford Christian Church and the Harry Hynes Hospice.  Contributions can be left with the Oxford Funeral Home, P.O. Box 123, Oxford, KS 67119. 

Eva Marie Runyan was born June 28, 1950, the daughter of Merle and Thelma (Hostetter) Rhodes in Winfield, KS. She graduated from Winfield High School in 1968 and attended Central Business College in Wichita. On June 18, 1971 Eva was united in marriage to Allen Runyan. Eva worked for the city of Winfield for 33 years. She loved to travel and cruise around the world. Eva was a talented seamstress for her family and even made wedding dresses.

Eva is survived by her loving husband, Allen of the home; niece, Sheryl Metz (Wade); great nephews: Anthony Metz (Ashley) and Clinton Metz; and great niece, Bethany Metz.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Linda.
