Freda Jo (Rich) Hotchkin, 63, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022 at her home.

Freda was born in Salinas, CA on March 3, 1959 to parents Paul and Ada Belle (Emberton) Rich. She graduated from Oxford, KS High School in 1977. Freda was united in marriage to Randy Hotchkin on August 1, 1983; the couple later divorced but remained close. Freda enjoyed many things, including coloring, painting, making dream catchers, playing bingo and backgammon, and collecting shot glasses from every state, unicorns and pixies. She also liked going boating, fishing, and camping, most of all Freda loved spending time with her grandkids.

Survivors include her son Micheal Hotchkin, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and sisters Linda Keady, Gena Havner, and Stephanie Adams. She is preceded in death by her parents, son Curtis Ray Moody, and sisters Janet and Joyce.

Her family will hold private services at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cowley County Humane Society, donations may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield.
