Geneva Ann Woods

Geneva Ann Woods, 79, of Arkansas City, KS passed away Friday, October 14th, 2022.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 18th, 2022 at Parker Cemetery. No visitation has been scheduled. A memorial has been established in Geneva’s name with the Cowley County Humane Society. Contributions may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Arkansas City. 

Geneva Woods was born on March 5th, 1943 to Bill and Mary Coppinger in Tahlequah, OK. She attended high school at the Chilocco School. On August 3rd, 1964, Geneva married the love of her life, Larry Woods. He was her life. She loved the farm, the animals, and especially her cats. During the holidays Geneva would help the elderly and take presents to families in need.

Geneva is survived by her husband Larry J. Woods, her son Dale Freeman of Ada, OK, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded by her parents, and her siblings Billy Joe Coppinger, Mike Coppinger and Lois Carr.
