Georgia Lois Hearlson, 73, of Winfield, KS passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024 at her home.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield. Visitation will be held from 4-6 PM Monday, June 24, 2024 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions for Georgia may be made to the Ellie and Hadley Fagan Education Fund, donations may be left in the care of the funeral home.
Georgia was born December 2, 1950 in Wellington, KS the daughter of Francis and Maggie Hearlson. She graduated from Wellington High School. Georgia worked at Binney & Smith for 25 years from 1971-1996, then worked for 22 years at Calmar from 1997-2019 until her retirement. Georgia enjoyed baking, sewing, trying her luck at the casino and buying scratch tickets, she loved spending time with her friends going for drives around town and going to lunch. She cherished time spent with her family, especially her great-granddaughters.
Survivors include her sons Cliff Zollman and wife Michele, Michael Zollman and partner Christy, grandchildren Hannah Fagan and her husband John, Alexander Zollman and wife Amber, Austin Zollman and partner Sierra, great-granddaughters, Ellie and Hadley Fagan, siblings Marti Short of Joplin, MO, Frank and Luann Hearlson of Manhattan Beach, CA, Kenny and Julie Hearlson of Coast Mesa, CA, and nephews Raymond and Clayton Crain of Joplin, MO.
Georgia is preceded in death by her parents Francis and Maggie Hearlson, and her brothers Fred Hearlson, John Hearlson, Billy Hearlson, and Wesley Hearlson.
