Obituary
Harley R. Worthington, 90, of Oxford, KS entered eternal rest on Tuesday, July 27, 2021.
He was born and raised in Nebraska and moved to California as a teenager. There he met his wife, Eleanor to whom he was married for over 70 years. He is survived by his four children: Howard (Louise) Worthington, Norman (Ellen) Worthington, Craig Worthington, all of California, and Diane (Russell) Hyde of Kansas. He had 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He worked for 35 years at PG&E as a steam and hydropower plant operator and as a sub-station operator. He enjoyed traveling, camping, model trains, and attending car shows with his 1949 Plymouth that he restored.
Funeral services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Winfield, KS at 10:00 AM Thursday, August 12, 2021. The family will have a private interment service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, donations may be left in the care of the Oxford Funeral Service, PO Box 123, Oxford, KS 67119.
