Henry R. Rutherford, Jr.

Henry R. Rutherford, Jr., 55, of Winfield, KS passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cowley County Humane Society, donations may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield.

Henry was born June 3, 1969 in Winfield, KS to parents Mary (Mays) and Henry R. Rutherford, Sr. He graduated from Winfield High School in 1987. Henry worked at Rubbermaid, Sonic and at the Kansas Veterans Home as a dietary supervisor. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, camping, playing disc golf, and doing target practice.

Henry is survived by his mother, brother Ray Rutherford (Esther), sister Winona Stone, best friends Bonita Liermann, Kris Olmstead, and Chad Anderson and his beloved dog, Sweetie. He is preceded in death by his father.
