Janie Ellen (Revels) Bell

Janie Ellen Bell, 60, of Winfield, KS passed away on May 20, 2025 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, surrounded by her family.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Shelley Family Funeral Home to defray funeral expenses.

Janie was born on February 18, 1965 in Lake Wales, FL to parents James and Vivian (Jones) Revels. She graduated from high school in Lake Wales and later moved to Winfield, KS where she met the love of her life William Mitchell. Janie Worked at Creek Stone Farms in Ark city for many years before retiring. Janie enjoyed Reading, talking to her friends, country music and spending time with her family.

Janie is survived by her husband, children; Cheynne Mitchell, Cheryl Duggan, Larry Griffin, Jason Duggan, Matthew Griffin, Christopher Cooper, Justin Harrod, Nikki Phillips and Nichol Duggan. She is preceded in death by her parents and daughters Julia Griffin and Ronnie Bell.
