Jay Allen Popchoke, 58, of Oxford, KS passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023.
Jay was born December 18, 1964 in Wellington, KS to parents Donald and Mary Lou (Brown) Popchoke. He graduated from Oxford High School in 1983. Jay enlisted in the US Army and served in Desert Storm as a front-line diesel mechanic. He also worked as a CMA until he became medically disabled.
Survivors include his son John Allen Popchoke, brothers Bob Popchoke and Randy Popchoke (Mary) and sister Sondra Hutchins (Jeff).
Memorial services will be held at a later date at the Winfield Veterans’ Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Oxford Funeral Service – PO Box 123 Oxford, KS 67119 to defray expenses.
