Jeanine Bey (Doughty) Young

Jeanine Bey Young, 87, of Winfield, KS passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023 at the Kansas Veterans’ Home.

Jeanine was born December 21, 1935 in Cherokee, OK the daughter of Percy and Lillie (Parkhurst) Doughty. She graduated from Cherokee High School and was united in marriage to Donald Leroy Young in 1957 in Seattle, WA. Jeanine enjoyed being a homemaker and liked watching television. She is survived by her children Gerald and Sheryl Young. Jeanine is preceded in death by her parents and husband Donald.

Private graveside services will be held at the Grace Lawn Cemetery in Howard, KS. Arrangements are in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield.
