Jerry Deamer Pappan, 77, of Arkansas City, Kansas passed away Monday, January 6, 2020 in Arkansas City. He was born August 14th, 1942 to Forest Leon and Velma Hazel (Landers) Pappan in Los Alamos, Colorado. He was united in marriage to Frances Williams on June 6, 1959. Jerry worked majority of his career in management at Skyline Mobile Homes. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, fishing, and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys.
Jerry is survived by his childhood sweetheart and wife of 60 years, Frances Williams Pappan, his children Scott Pappan and Deena Pappan Kendrick, his daughter-in-law, Julie Pappan and son-in-law, Joe Kendrick, brother, Jimmy Pappan, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents and stepfather Daniel Davidson, brothers, Kenneth and Otis Pappan.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 9th, at First Assembly of God Church at 3125 Summit St. in Arkansas City.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Mr. Pappan’s name may be given to the Good Samaritan Fund at Presbyterian Manor of Arkansas City. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
