John Barnes Obituary

John D. Barnes, 61, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Wesley Medical Center.

John was born August 22, 1959 in Dallas, TX the son of Richard and Judy (Darr) Barnes. He graduated from Winfield High School in 1977. John served in the Army from 1978-1980, he worked at Apple Market for several years. He enjoyed reading, studying history, watching the Dallas Cowboys, and listening to rock music, especially the Beatles and Van Halen.

He is survived by his parents, and sister Jennifer Irwin.

Cremation will take place, no services are scheduled. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, contributions may be left in care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield.
