John Bottomley Obituary

John T. Bottomley, 81, of Arkansas City, KS passed away November 30, 2024.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at Riverview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Ark City, donations may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Ark City.

John was born September 7, 1943 in Arkansas City, KS to parents Gordon and Emma (Bell) Bottomley. He graduated from Arkansas City High School and later joined the National Guard from which he retired. John also worked and retired from the Santa Fe Railroad.

John is survived by his brother Marvin Bottomley (Karen). He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Linda Bottomley.
