Joyce Alberta Williams

Joyce Alberta Williams, 83, of Winfield, KS passed away October 1, 2022 at William Newton Hospital in Winfield KS

Memorial services will be at 11:00 am October 15, 2022 at Cambridge Baptist Church in Cambridge KS. Memorial contributions for Joyce may be made to the American Cancer Society, donations may be left in the care of Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield. Flowers may be sent to Cambridge Baptist Church.

Joyce was born on June 28, 1939 in Farmington, NM to parents Bill and Hattie Dowler. The family moved to Severy, KS where Joyce attended school until the 8th grade. On November 5, 1955 she married the love of her life, Donald Williams.

Joyce enjoyed sewing, gardening, fishing and hunting with her husband. She was also a member of the Winfield VFW.

Joyce is survived by her children: Don Williams (Brenda), Danny Williams, Tammy Williams (Louie); grandchildren: Brandi O’Connor, Dustin Williams, Daisy Williams, Beau Williams, and Kayla Van Vliet; great-grandchildren: Cory, Kailey, Kinley, Lilly and Deacon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sisters, Olive Woods and Celo Weyrauch.
