Judith "Judy" Ann (Ward) Jenson

Judith “Judy” Ann Jenson, 84, of Arkansas City, KS passed away at her home on May 2, 2024.

Memorial services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, June 22, 2024 at the Memorial Lawn Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children and left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Arkansas City.

Judy was born on March 16, 1940, in Wauneta, KS to parents Royal and Evelyn (Ross) Ward. She attended Ark City High School before moving to Lake Oswego, OR where she finished. Judy worked at GE for many years moving up until she was the rotor shop work leader. Judy enjoyed shopping, crocheting, playing solitaire and her grandkids.

Judy is survived by her son Scott Jenson, granddaughter Megan Wesley, step-grandchildren; Angela McGhee, Dustin Hand, Randy Tagle, Megan Hand, and Bradley Ohle, and numerous great-grandchildren, Nephew Greg Younce, niece Laurie White, great nieces and nephews; Justin Tucker, Brandon Tucker, Alyssa Tucker, and Alexis White.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Alice Younce.
