Justine C. Tomsche

Justine C. Tomsche, 79, a lifelong resident of Arkansas City, KS passed away Monday, August 26, 2024 at her home with her husband by her side.

Justine was born in Winfield, KS on June 9, 1945 to parents JC and Georgia (Loyd) Bills. She graduated from Arkansas City High School. Justine was united in marriage to the love of her life, Ed Tomsche, in Arkansas City, on July 3, 1965. She worked as a clerk for cable TV companies and Kansas Gas Service. She was a life member of the Ark City VFW1254 Auxiliary, and enjoyed following OU Football and PGA Golf.

Survivors include her husband Ed Tomsche of Arkansas City, brother Glenn Bills and wife Phyllis of Denver, CO, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Private services will be held at a later date, burial will take place at Parker Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the VFW Post 1254 Auxiliary and Good Shepherd Hospice. Donations may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Arkansas City.
