Larry Dean Jenkins

Larry Dean Jenkins, 77, of Oxford, Kansas passed away November 7, 2021.

A visitation will be held for family and friends from 10 AM-12 PM Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the Oxford Funeral Service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Oxford First Baptist Church and left in the care of the funeral home.

Larry was born on July 1, 1944 in San Antonio, Texas to parents Robert W. Dean and Irma Lea (Boatright) Jenkins. The family moved to Oxford where Larry graduated from high school in 1962. On March 9, 1963 he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Karen Ketterman, in Winfield, KS. Larry owned the Champlin Gas station in Oxford before working at Boeing as a die finisher for 33 years before retiring in 2003. Larry enjoyed auto mechanics and gardening in his free time.

Larry is survived by his children Marty Jenkins, Rickey Jenkins (Diana), and Janelle Vannoy (Steve); grandchildren, Garrett, Hunter, Laci, Dasa and Hali; great-grandchildren Noah, Ava-Grace and Mason, siblings Doug Jenkins, Norman Jenkins, Janice Avera, Marcia Jenkins and Rhonda Knox. Larry is preceded in death by his parents and wife.
