Lori Morgan Obituary

Lori Ann Morgan, 57, of Winfield, KS passed away Monday, April 4th, 2022 at William Newton Hospital.

A celebration of life and potluck at Island Park Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 1-3 P.M. Burial will take place at New Salem Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Kidney Foundation and left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield.

Lori was born on June 13, 1964 in Wichita, KS. She graduated from Winfield High School in 1982, and later received a medical coding certificate from Wichita Technical Institute. She worked at DJ engineering in Augusta KS, El Dorado Correctional Facility and most recently at Silgan in Winfield for over 10 years. Lori enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, diamond art, watching the KC Chiefs, spending time with her dogs Sparky and Moxie and being with family.

Lori is survived by her wife, Diana Seabolt, step-daughter Amy Elkins, siblings: Marten Morgan, Suzan Mayfield, Ronna Vanderpool, and Kristi Conklin: and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, and siblings: Melinda, Debra, Vicki, and Craig.
