Lyle Wayne Keefe, 84, of Arkansas City, KS, passed away on October 1, 2024 at Presbyterian Manor.
Private graveside services will be held at Hope Cemetery in Arkansas City. No visitation is scheduled. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Donations may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Arkansas City.
Lyle was born on August 13, 1940, in Arkansas City to parents Richard and Leona (Lamb) Keefe. He graduated from Ark City High School and attended Ark City JuCo. He married the love of his life, Dianna Mott, on December 2, 1962. They made their home in Arkansas City where he owned and operated Keefe Printing for over 40 years. Lyle enjoyed watching horse racing and raising paint horses, hunting, fishing, and gardening. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
Lyle is survived by his wife, children Russell Keefe (Sandra), Pamela Hess (Dennis Cameron), Sheila Smith (Jeff), Marci Meyer (Sean), Traci Trent (David), brother Ralph Keefe (Janice) and sister Marie Marcus, 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Edward Keefe.
