Marilyn Diane (Wagoner) Leith, 67, of Winfield passed away Friday, June 25, 2021, at her home with her family.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Grace United Methodist Church of Winfield. Attendees will be asked to wear a mask to attend the service. Memorial contributions may be made in Marilyn’s name to the Eagle Nest Inc. and/or the Food Pantry of Winfield, in lieu of flowers. Contributions may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield.
Marilyn was born in Wetumka, OK to parents Alvie and Dessie Wagoner. She graduated from Dexter High School with the class of 1971. Marilyn spent the majority of her career with the State of Kansas, where she retired in 2017 as the Chief Clerk of the District Court. A deeply faithful woman, she enjoyed music, spending time with family & friends, and traveling throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Marilyn’s survivors include her son Michael Leith and his wife Claudine; daughter Angie Morris and husband Jon; grandchildren Mackenzie and Owen, all of Beaverton, OR; siblings Reba Venable, Judy Nelson, and 18 beloved nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Sue Edwards.
