Mary Elizabeth Deal, 67, of Winfield, KS passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita, KS.
Celebration of life services will be held at 2 PM, Monday, December 22, 2025, at her daughter's home at 12225 132nd Rd. Winfield, KS. Arrangements are in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home.
Mary was born on August 19, 1958 in Winfield, KS to parents Billie and Dorothy (Carlisle) Hamilton. She attended Issaquah, WA, high school and later returned to Winfield and worked at Binney and Smith, then at Boeing and Spirit. She retired in 2018. On November 27, 1974, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Merle Deal Jr. in Snoqualmie, WA. Mary enjoyed camping, especially at Kaw Lake, fishing, and traveling.
Mary is survived by her husband, children Brenda Dolch (Brian), Merle Deal III, and Justin Deal (Melissa), grandchildren Braden, McKenzie, Bryce, Cody and Parker, siblings Marilyn Houser, Steve Hamilton, Gail Rabe and William Hamilton.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
