Mary Frances Williams, 70, of Winfield, KS passed away Monday, August 12, 2024 at her home.
A visitation will be held from 5-7 PM Friday, August 16, 2024 at the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield. Private interment will take place at Highland Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shelley Family Funeral Home to defray expenses.
Mary was born April 25, 1954 in Wichita, KS the daughter of Virgil and Virginia (Lewis) Earls. She graduated from Udall High School. Mary was united in marriage to Daniel Williams on July 17, 1988. She worked as a caretaker in several nursing homes and as a nurses’ aide at William Newton Memorial Hospital, she also ran Momma Mary’s daycare for 10 years. Mary enjoyed doing crafts, making flower arrangements, collecting antiques, figurines, dishes, birdhouses and dolls. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and sang in the choir.
Survivors include her husband Dan, children Jonathan Miller, Jeremy Miller and Christian Williams and wife Allyson, siblings Jannie Schultz, Billy Earls, Marilyn Wedd, Beverly Brown, and David Earls, and 9 grandchildren. Mary is preceded in death by her parents.
