Michael Lynn Smith

Michael L. Smith passed away Sunday June 5, 2022 at the South Central Kansas Medical Center.

Cremation will take place. Arrangements are in the care of Shelley Family Funeral Home of Arkansas City. A memorial has been established in Michael’s name with the funeral home to defray funeral expenses.

Michael was born on July 16, 1956, to Robert and Bonnie (Downs) Smith. He greatly enjoyed fishing with his sons.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Bonnie Smith. Michael is survived by his children: Joseph Smith (Melanie), Thomas Smith (Jassilamy), Daniel Smith (Gracie), and four grandchildren; siblings: James Smith (Susan), Betty Pickens (Roy), Gary Smith (Charlotte), and Timothy Smith (Diana).
