Mona Marie Mozingo

Mona Mozingo, 77, of Winfield, KS passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2025 at her home, surrounded by her family.

Memorial services will be held at Grace Episcopal Church in Winfield at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 26, 2025. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Monday, April 14, 2025 at the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Episcopal Church, Blessing Box Fund, donations may be left in the care of the funeral home.

Mona was born on February 7, 1948. She attended Wichita schools. On August 31, 1968 was united in marriage to the love of her life, Ronald Mozingo. Mona ran Cabbage Patch Daycare in Winfield for over 45 years, she loved caring for the kids and watching them grow. Mona was a member of the Grace Episcopal Church. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, and spending time with her grandkids.

Mona is survived by her husband, son Mark Mozingo, grandchildren, Raymond Mitchell Jr., Danielle Mitchell, great-grandchildren Gracelyn Micthell and Liam Paul Mitchell, and brother Wes Cummins.

She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Diana Mitchell.
