Nancy Ann Wheeler

Nancy Ann Wheeler, 69, of Wichita, KS passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, March 20, 2025 at the Shelley Family Funeral Home in Winfield. Graveside services will follow at the Tisdale Cemetery. No visitation is scheduled. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas Humane Society, donations may be left in the care of the funeral home.

Nancy was born on November 1, 1955 in Winfield, KS to parents Paul R. Conway Sr. and Della May Bedell. She graduated from Winfield High School in 1974. She was united in marriage to Billy Bob Bowin. Nancy worked at Beech Aircraft and then at Contemporary Communications Inc. for over 15 years as an executive assistant. Nancy enjoyed playing bingo, going thrift shopping and to garage sales, and bowling in her younger years. She was an animal lover, especially cats and dogs.

Nancy is survived by her daughter Bobbie Stevens (Brian), mother Della Bryant, granddaughter Zaelia Stevens, brothers Jeff Conway and Luke Conway. She is preceded in death by her father, husband, and brother Paul Conway Jr.
