Norma Jean Cole

Norma Jean Cole, 82, of Arkansas City, KS passed away Monday, December 27, 2021 at the South Central Kansas Medical Center.

The family of Norma Cole is having a Celebration of Life ceremony to honor her life on Saturday, April 9th from 3-5 pm. It will be held at the Parkerfield community building: 29271 91st Rd, Parkerfield KS 67005.  We will have a short service and then have a dinner that we hope everyone will stay and enjoy.  We would love for everyone who knew and loved our mom to come and help us celebrate her life and the many happy memories that we all made with her.

Norma was born in Hewins, KS to parents Norman and Lucille (Oliver) Fesler. She received her education from Cedar Vale High School before marrying the love of her life Donald Cole on November 23, 1956. They had 60 wonderful years together filled with love, laughter, and family. Norma enjoyed numerous activities including spending time at the family farm, fishing, camping, taking care of her cows, and playing pinochle with the Gloria Clover Pinochle Group. Norma was a long-time member of the Arkansas City Church of Christ. She was very involved in the Cole Family Construction Business run by her husband, but most of all she loved cooking big family meals, spending time with her family, and her little dog Molly.

She is survived by her children: Ginger Childers, Debbie McNulty (Jim), and Brian Cole (Kristi); grandchildren: Brad Factor, Brandon McNulty, Natasha Goodman, Cody McNulty, Hunter Dierks, Hannah McNulty, Autumn Layland, Bryn Cole, Carlee Cole, and her six great-grandchildren.

Norma is preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald Cole, brother Clarence Fesler and grandson Michael Davis.
