Patricia Ann Winters passed away, Tuesday, June 4, 2024.
She was born June 2, 1951, in Sullivan, Kansas. She will be laid to rest beside her daughter, Lora Ann Barkus, at the Barkus Family Cemetery. She enjoyed her family and grandchildren and deeply adored them. Her hobbies included cooking, baking and garage sales. She loved making pies and cheesecakes for her loved ones, and she was always excited to try new recipes. She loved her fur babies and always found a special place in her heart for strays. She enjoyed reading the Bible with her family. She studied the Bible with her daughter every morning, relating it to her daily life. Throughout her life, Pat touched many lives through her occupation as a CNA.
Pat is preceded in death by her mother and father, Jim and Mable Winters, her brothers Charlie and Mark Winters, sister, Janet Painter, and her beloved daughter, Lora Ann Barkus.
Pat is survived by son, Danny Lyons of Wichita, Kansas, siblings, Mike Winters of Blackwell, Jane Henman of Rosehill, Kansas, step-son, Alan Belveal, granddaughter, Morgan Belveal, son-in law, Boyd Ray Barkus, grandson, Stephen Ray Barkus and wife Dana Barkus, and grandsons Kingston and Kyson Barkus.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 15, at 11:00 am at the Barkus Family Farm, 14877 136th Road, Winfield, Kansas. Memorial Contributions for Pat may be made to Wisdom Warriors, donations may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield.
