Paul Leroy Robinson, 86, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025, at his home in Arkansas City, KS, with his wife by his side.
No services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made out to Wounded Warrior Project, donations may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Ark City.
Paul was born on March 13, 1939, in Shawnee, OK to parents William and Lila May (Reeves-Douglas) Robinson. He graduated from Davenport High School in Oklahoma and then joined the US Army from 1958 to 1964. Paul was stationed in Germany and Fort Sill, OK. After his service, he married Suzan Lind on May 22, 1987, in Arkansas City. Paul worked for over 40 years as a truck driver. In his free time, he enjoyed tending to his horses and cattle and in the evenings, he enjoyed playing poker and bingo.
He survived by his wife, Susan Robinson, sons Kevin Robinson, Mark Robinson, and Gary Windham, daughter Bridgette Lough, grandchildren Skyler Robinson, Reagan Robinson, Brendan Robinson, Rocky Evanoff Jr., Anthony Tombs, and Pyper Lough, stepson Richard Folk, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
