Peter Martin Obituary

Peter Joseph Martin, 81, passed away peacefully Friday, December 3, 2021 at the Kansas Veterans’ Home in Winfield.

Peter was born on St. Patrick’s Day 1940 in Mason City, IA the son of James Robert Martin II and Evalyn (Hairm) Martin. Peter graduated from Greterger, IA High School and later served his country in the US Army. Peter worked as an electrician most of his life and near the end of his career he worked in several nuclear power plants throughout the United States.

Peter is survived by his daughters Kara Broderick and husband Tony of Douglass, KS, and Roxanne Allen of Arkansas City, KS. He is preceded in death by his daughter Eli Martin, his son Jordan Martin and his grandson Adam Broderick.

In accordance with Peter's wishes, cremation will take place and his family will hold private services at a later time. Arrangements are in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield.
